Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before playing ChronaLife: Hollywood Edition (the "Game" or "App"), published by Wade Holding Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. These Terms and the Privacy Policy work together.

§ 1. What You Are Getting

ChronaLife: Hollywood Edition is a single-player Hollywood career simulator with a tabloid newspaper style. You create fictional legends, advance through industry weeks, audition, shoot, train craft skills, manage life expenses, handle scandals, and explore in-world trade papers and social feeds.

The Game is entertainment software, not career, financial, legal, or mental-health advice. Nothing in the Game is a promise about real Hollywood, real agencies, or real people.

§ 2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use the Game under the laws where you live and old enough to accept these Terms (or have a parent or guardian accept them for you).

The Game includes satirical and dramatic themes such as career pressure, money trouble, and fictional scandals. You are responsible for deciding whether the content is appropriate for you.

§ 3. License to Use the Game

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Game on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the App Store or platform where you obtained the Game.

You may not:

• Copy, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Game except as allowed by platform rules
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law explicitly allows it
• Use cheats, exploits, or unauthorized modifications to gain unfair advantages in ways that break the Game for others or for live services
• Use the Game to harass, threaten, or impersonate real people
• Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose

All rights not expressly granted remain with Wade Holding Group LLC and our licensors.

§ 4. No Account Required (Current Version)

In the current version of the Game, you do not need to create an account or sign in to play.

If we add accounts, cloud saves, subscriptions, or other online features later, we may ask you to accept updated Terms or additional terms at that time.

§ 5. Your Careers and Local Data

Saves stay on your device

Your legends, progress, settings, and optional mug shot photos are stored locally on your device in the current version. We do not provide cloud backup or cross-device sync unless we clearly announce and offer that feature later.

You are responsible for your device data

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your device secure
• Backing up your device through your platform's normal backup tools if you want to preserve careers
• Understanding that deleting the App, wiping your device, or using in-game delete tools can permanently remove careers

We are not responsible for lost saves caused by device failure, uninstalling the App, or deleting data through Settings.

Stage names and content you create

You choose a stage name and make in-game choices. Do not use real personal information (such as your full legal name, address, or phone number) as your stage name if you might later send a bug report that includes save data.

You represent that content you submit through voluntary bug reports or feedback is yours to share and does not violate anyone else's rights.

§ 6. Fictional World Disclaimer

Almost everything in the Game is fiction:

• Tabloid names like BUZZ!, SIDES, SET, LOT, DIRT, and FLARE are in-world brands
• People, studios, posts, headlines, awards, and scandals are simulated
• FLARE is not a real social network and does not connect you to real users
• Real company or celebrity names may appear only as satire or reference and do not imply endorsement

Do not rely on the Game for factual information about the entertainment industry or any real person.

§ 7. In-Game Money, Perks, and Purchases

In-game resources

Bank, fame, heat, energy, and similar meters are virtual game resources. They have no real-world cash value and cannot be exchanged for money unless we explicitly offer a feature that says otherwise.

"Go Platinum" and tabloid stickers

Some screens reference Platinum, free trial, no ads, star ratings, or other loud tabloid-style stickers. In the current version:

• Platinum is an in-game perk pack, not a real charge unless the App Store purchase flow clearly shows a price and you confirm a purchase
• Welcome-screen stickers are tabloid flavor, not guarantees about store ratings, trials, or ad policies

If we add real in-app purchases or subscriptions, platform billing terms apply. Price, renewal, and cancellation details will be shown before you buy.

No real-money gambling

The Game does not offer real-money gambling or casino-style wagering.

§ 8. Optional Features That Use the Internet

The Game works as an offline career sim after installation, but some features need internet access:

• Usage telemetry (optional; can be turned off in Settings)
• Bug reports and feedback you choose to send
• Live in-game announcements
• App updates

We may change, pause, or remove online features at any time for maintenance, balance, or legal reasons.

§ 9. Acceptable Use

When using the Game and any related support channels, you agree not to:

• Submit bug reports or feedback that contain hate speech, threats, illegal content, or someone else's private information without permission
• Attempt to disrupt our servers or other players' experience of live services
• Misrepresent your relationship with Wade Holding Group LLC or ChronaLife

We may refuse or remove support submissions that violate these rules.

§ 10. Intellectual Property

The Game—including art, writing, characters, logos, tabloid layout, music (if any), code, and trademarks such as ChronaLife—is owned by Wade Holding Group LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may share screenshots or short clips of your own gameplay for personal, non-commercial use, including streaming and social posts, as long as you do not imply we endorse you or your content and you do not sell unlicensed merchandise using our assets.

§ 11. Updates and Changes to the Game

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, balance, copy, or content. We may also require you to install updates to continue using online features.

The Game is under active development. Progress, features, and balance may change between versions.

§ 12. Disclaimers

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT YOUR CAREERS WILL NEVER BE LOST DUE TO DEVICE ISSUES, BUGS, OR UPDATES.

§ 13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• WADE HOLDING GROUP LLC AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GAME
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE GAME WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE GAME IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $25

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

§ 14. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wade Holding Group LLC and our affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse of the Game, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit through bug reports or feedback (including if you include someone else's personal information without permission).

§ 15. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated.

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it.

We may suspend or terminate your access to online features if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Game. Local offline play may still work until you remove the App, depending on the version you have installed.

Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

§ 16. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the Game from the Apple App Store or another platform, that platform's terms also apply. For Apple users:

• These Terms are between you and Wade Holding Group LLC, not Apple
• Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Game
• In the event of failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you

Platform refund policies control purchase refunds.

§ 17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, please email [email protected] with a short description of the issue so we can try to resolve it informally.

Unless prohibited by applicable law, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, United States for disputes that are not subject to arbitration or small-claims procedures.

§ 18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Game changes. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we may notify you in the App or through the App Store.

Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

§ 19. General

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Game.
• Severability: If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not assign them without our consent.
