This Privacy Policy explains how Wade Holding Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), publisher of ChronaLife: Hollywood Edition, handles information when you play the Game (the "App").
We wrote this for players—not engineers. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom.
§ Summary
- Your careers stay on your device. We do not sync your save files to the cloud.
- No account is required to play in the current version of the Game.
- You choose your stage name in the Game. We do not ask for your real name, email, or phone number to play.
- Optional mug shot photos stay on your device unless you delete them or remove the App.
- Usage telemetry is optional. You can turn it off anytime in Settings → Usage Telemetry.
- Bug reports and feedback are voluntary. You decide what to send and can choose whether to include career save data with a bug report.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- The Game has no ads in the current version.

§ What the Game Is
ChronaLife: Hollywood Edition is a single-player Hollywood career simulator. You build fictional legends, audition, shoot, train, manage scandals, and read in-world tabloid headlines.
Important clarifications:
- FLARE is a fictional in-game social feed. All accounts, posts, and DMs are simulated. You are not chatting with real people through FLARE.
- BUZZ!, SIDES, SET, LOT, DIRT, and other in-world names are part of the Game's tabloid fantasy—not separate real-world services.
- "Go Platinum" and similar perks are in-game flavor in the current version. They are not real-world subscription or purchase offers unless we clearly say otherwise in the App Store listing at the time you buy something.
§ Information Stored on Your Device
Most of your Game data never leaves your phone or tablet unless you choose to send it (for example, through a bug report).
Career saves ("legends")
When you play, the Game stores your progress locally on your device, including:
- Stage name and career choices (agency, home market, and similar onboarding picks)
- Game stats (bank, fame, heat, energy, craft skills, and related progress)
- Bookings, auditions, scandals, credits, mail, and other in-game history
- Settings such as which legend is active and whether usage telemetry is on
You can have multiple legends on one device. Deleting a legend or wiping all saves removes that data from your device.
Mug shot photos (optional)
You may optionally choose a photo from your device's photo library to use as your in-game mug shot.
- We use photo access only for this purpose.
- Photos are stored on your device only as part of your career.
- We do not upload your mug shot photo for normal gameplay.
- If you delete a legend, uninstall the App, or wipe your device, that photo can be removed with your local Game data.
Studio Vault (device-only)
The Game may track cross-legend milestones on your device (for example, how many legends you have created or how many releases you have earned across careers). This is used for in-game bonuses such as starting cash on new legends. It stays on your device and is not a cloud account.
§ Information That May Leave Your Device
The Game can connect to the internet for limited purposes described below. You can play core career gameplay offline once the App is installed; some support and announcement features need a connection.
1. Usage telemetry (optional)
Default: On
Your control: Settings → The Masthead → Usage Telemetry
When telemetry is on, the Game sends anonymous usage information to help us understand how the App is used, improve balance, and fix problems. This may include:
- Which screens you visit and how long you stay on them
- App version, device type, operating system version, language, time zone, and screen size
- A random device identifier created by the App (not your Apple ID, advertising ID, or real name)
- A session identifier for grouping activity during one play session
- Gameplay context such as industry week, phase, agency, home market, and broad stat ranges (for example, fame tier or bank tier)—not your stage name
When telemetry is off:
- New telemetry events are not sent.
- The App clears its local telemetry queue when you turn telemetry off.
- Nothing in this category leaves your device until you turn telemetry back on.
We use telemetry to improve the Game—not to sell your data.
2. Bug reports (voluntary)
You may choose Report a Bug in Settings. If you submit a report, you send information you provide plus diagnostic details to help us investigate.
A bug report may include:
- Your written title, description, and optional steps to reproduce
- Device and App version information
- Which screen you were on
- Optional JavaScript error logs if the App captured a recent error
- Optional full career save data from your device (this is on by default in the bug report form, and you can turn it off before sending)
If you include save data, we may receive your stage name, career progress, and other in-game details needed to reproduce save-related bugs. Do not include real personal information in your stage name if you are uncomfortable sharing it with our support team.
Bug reports are used to fix issues and improve stability.
3. Product feedback (voluntary)
You may send Send Feedback from Settings with a category (for example, confused, idea, praise, other) and a short message.
Feedback may include:
- The text you write
- A random device identifier (the same type used for telemetry, so we can spot repeat reports without knowing who you are)
Feedback does not include your career saves unless you separately submit a bug report with save data attached.
4. Live in-game announcements
The Game may download live announcements (for example, maintenance notes or in-world news sheets) from our servers. These are public messages for all players. We do not need your name to show them.
5. App updates
The Game may check for and download App updates (including over-the-air updates) so you receive fixes and improvements. Update checks are tied to the App's normal update channel, not to selling your data.
§ What We Do Not Collect for Gameplay
In the current version of the Game, we do not:
- Require you to create an account or sign in
- Ask for your legal name, email, phone number, or home address to play
- Sync your careers to the cloud
- Run third-party advertising networks inside the Game
- Let you message or match with real players through FLARE
- Access your camera (photo library access is optional for mug shots only)
- Track your precise GPS location
- Read your contacts, calendar, or microphone for gameplay
§ How We Use Information
We use information described in this policy to:
- Operate and improve the Game
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance problems
- Understand which features players use
- Respond to feedback you choose to send
- Show live announcements and deliver App updates
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your information for real-world targeted advertising inside the Game in the current version.
§ How Long We Keep Information

You can delete local Game data anytime through in-game Settings (delete a legend or wipe all careers).
§ Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your information.
Things you can do in the Game today:
- Turn Usage Telemetry off or on in Settings
- Choose not to attach career save data when filing a bug report
- Decline photo library permission and use a preset press photo instead
- Delete legends or all saves from Settings
- Uninstall the App to remove local Game data from your device
To ask about data we hold from bug reports, feedback, or telemetry tied to your device identifier, email [email protected]. We may need you to provide details that help us locate your report (for example, approximate date and description).
§ Children's Privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and includes mature themes such as career struggle, satirical tabloid drama, and fictional scandals.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country) without appropriate parental consent. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
§ International Players
If you use the Game outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws than your home country.
By using the Game, you understand that information you choose to send us may be transferred and processed as described in this policy.
§ Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information sent to our servers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Keep your device updated and use a passcode or biometric lock if you are concerned about local access to your careers or photos.
§ Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game changes—for example, if we add accounts, cloud saves, or purchases. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we may also notify you in the App or through the App Store.
Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
