In progress — Build 47

3 min readBy Chronalife Team

Here’s where Build 47 stands: a large push across crime, sports, building, markets, and the core life loop—still in active development, but far enough along that we can share what players can expect.

Crime, prison, and the underworld

While you’re inside, Actions now centers the sentence: a clear prison path, health where it belongs, and less noise from the outside world until you’re back on the street.

Organized crime is growing into a full layer: rival families with real faces and memory, turf you can fight over, annual books, crew hierarchy, promotions, and smarter operations with upfront risk and payoff. Empire work includes a dossier-style district view, smuggling integrated into the yearly rhythm, AI-assisted parley for high-stakes talks, and a zoomable city read on who controls what.

We’ve also tightened crew recruiting, district strategy, and map gestures so the whole surface feels like one connected game—not a pile of menus.

Sportsbook

The book is moving from “bets on a screen” to a full product: same-game parlays with honest math (what you preview is what you get), conflict rules so impossible tickets can’t slip through, and expanded bet shapes—teasers, round robins, alt lines, and saved templates.

Line movement, closing-line value, and richer matchup context (form, edges, public vs sharp read) show up where decisions are made. Progression, challenges, analytics, and responsible-gaming controls (limits, cooldowns, self-exclusion) are first-class. Saves now remember your book state end-to-end.

Construction, lots, and development

Building is now a guided flow: pick a site, choose a plan, configure options, and review—with a live estimate that stays pinned as you change your mind. Market browsing matches that rhythm: search, filters, and a clear path from browsing to purchase.

We’ve added depth on loans, warranties, draws, liens, change orders, and review math that matches what actually commits. Develop brings renovation, rebuild, and subdivision into one hub, with subdivision plans that feel like real land work—not a single generic split.

Stocks, crypto, and the lottery

Charts and trade desks got a visual and layout pass: clearer quotes, better small-screen behavior, and tighter alignment between what you type, what “max” means, and what actually executes—stocks and crypto both.

Idle years run leaner when your books are quiet, without changing outcomes for engaged play. Lottery picking got a cleaner, faster row.

Life world and economy

Names for new characters better match region and background. Younger sims get softer health pressure so teens don’t inherit adult-tier burnout curves. Military missions and rehab flows are fairer and less exploitable. Banking transfers and tax copy are easier to read and match what your wallet actually did.

Money and life logs spell out payroll vs property income, shortfalls, and commercial profit assumptions so spreadsheets in your head line up with the game.

Account, cloud saves, and ChronaLife Plus

Sign-in, account, and paid cloud backups are wired so your progress can follow you across devices when you choose Plus. Time Machine now has clear free vs Plus tiers, and Sandbox is gated the same way—with honest limits instead of hidden cheats.

Profile and settings surfaces show membership state consistently.

Politics, education, and polish

Presidential diplomacy no longer lets you aim sanctions or treaties at your home country by mistake. Education navigation after acceptance returns you to Actions without leaving you stuck in the wrong stack.

Across the app we’ve cleaned credit-score presentation, inheritance handoffs for business finances, bug-report snapshots (without oversharing your save), and dozens of small crashes and edge cases you’d only hit in long runs.

Build 47 is still cooking. If you want the public changelog when posts go live, keep an eye on News—and thank you for playing Chronalife while we keep pushing the sim forward.
