Getting started

  1. Create a character and pick a save slot.
  2. Use Actions to make choices, then Age Up to advance time.
  3. Check Life for stats, money, events, and pending decisions.
  4. Open Settings for saves, account, Time Machine, and preferences.

If progress is blocked, resolve any pending decision on Life before aging up again.

Save slots

  • Each life lives in a save slot on your device.
  • You can run multiple parallel lives in different slots.
  • Uninstalling the app or clearing app data can permanently delete local progress.
  • Sign out does not delete local saves.

Cloud backup

Cloud backup is included with your app purchase when you sign in with email. No subscription required.

Back up

  1. Open Settings → Account and sign in with your email (one-time code).
  2. Go to Settings → Saves.
  3. Choose a slot and upload a cloud backup while online.

Backups are compressed and integrity-checked on upload.

Restore

  1. Stay signed in with the same email.
  2. Open Settings → Saves.
  3. Download the cloud backup for the slot you want.

If a cloud restore conflicts with a newer local save, the app may ask how to reconcile the data.

Tip: Do not rely on cloud backup as your only copy. Keep local slots you care about, and back up before major changes.

Account & email sign-in

  • You can play without email using anonymous play.
  • Email sign-in enables cloud backup, sync, and account deletion.
  • Sign in from Settings → Account with a one-time code sent to your inbox.
  • Sign out clears the session on this device; local saves remain.

Delete account

  1. Sign in with a verified email.
  2. Open Settings → Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This removes your verified email, cloud backups, and linked server data. Local saves on the device are not automatically deleted.

Time Machine

Time Machine stores local checkpoints on your device.

Checkpoints are device-local unless included in a cloud backup you upload. Ironman also disables Sandbox tools.

To use Sandbox, turn off Ironman in Time Machine settings.

Sync & offline play

  • Much of the game runs on-device.
  • Some server features queue offline and sync when you reconnect.
  • Cloud backup, lottery sync, and other server features need network and an active session when signed in.
  • Check Settings for sync or save errors, and System health if your build shows it.

Troubleshooting

App purchases are handled by Apple or Google. Refund requests go through the store you used, not directly through us. See Terms of Service.
